I don't know much about Zoe Jordan but I know that her AW13 collection has the power to form an IT girl. Minimalist and box structured shapes reminiscent of the works of my beloved Phoebe Philo, Jordan has the ability to create androgynous modernist looks that are all incredibly wearable. That's the thing about London, we are notoriously celebrated for our creativity and quirky backstreet/alleyway catwalk shows but most of it is more like artwork that you would want in your house rather than on your body.
Sometimes, (emphasis on) the clothes really have to be wearable and that's why the Zoe Jordan girl will go down a treat next season. With a monochromatic palette featuring blocks of orange and fuchsia and bits of leather thrown in, there is nothing you could want more. Metallic slim fit tailoring with a hint of Savile Row also makes way for the woman who has the suit engrained strongly within her wardrobe. Nice opening for day one of LFW Zoe, now we can carry on being power bitches.
